Does waxing your car remove scratches?

If you have surface scratches that are really light, the wax might fill it in, some waxes have fillers in them. But for a deep scracth that has gone through the clear coat, wax will not remove it, it will need to be buffed out, preferebly at a professional auto detail shop.
